He was born on September 12, 1940. In 1955, at the age of 15, he started training in Karate under the great grandmaster, Shoshin Nagamine, the founder of Matsubayashi Shorin-Ryu. In the year 1997, he was made the Chief Director of Shoshin Nagamine’s Matsubayashi Ryu organization where he remained until 2000. In the year 2000, he became a founding member of Shogen-Ryu Karate-Do, and became the Vice-President to Kensei Taba (Hanshi). That year, he held 9th Dan in Shogen-Ryu karate-do.
He was born in 1948. In 1964, at the age of 16, he began training in Karate under great grandmaster, Shoshin Nagamine, the founder of Matsubayashi Shorin Ryu. In the year 2000, he left Mastubayashi Shorin Ryu to join Kensei Taba, (Hanshi) in forming Shogen-Ryu Karate-Do.
Kyoshi K.P. Johnson, 7th Dan Black Belt, Shibu Cho for India and Director for South Asia and United Kingdom. He is a 7th Dan in Karate is awarded Shihan Title in Yamane Kisaba Ryu Kobudo by Hanshi Takeshi Tamaki. He was born in the year 1971, in Kerala (India). He started karate training at the age of 10. Received black belt in year 1984. Presently he is a 7th Dan Black Belt in Kokusai Shogen-Ryu Karate-Do, graded by Kaicho Takeshi Tamaki, in Okinawa, Japan. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in traditional karate from Tamilnadu Physical Education and Sports University.
